Use

We use “used to” describe things that we did in the past, but no longer do.
For example: I used to smoke

Form

“Used to” + infinitive
I used to work in an office (not working / worked etc.)

Negative

As we are talking about the past, we generally use didn’t + use to
Note: “used” has now become “use” to create negative sentences:
I didn’t use to like playing football as a child.

Questions

Questions are created in a similar way as negative sentences, now using
did + (subject) + use to
Did you use to go on holiday to Spain?
