Adjectives & adverbs -The quick car

An adjective gives more information and can modify a noun.
e.g. The quick car.

Ein Adjektive enthält zusätzliche Informationen und bestimmt ein Nomen,
z.B. The quick car. (“Das schnelle Auto”).

An adverb gives more information and can modify a verb, an adjective or another adverb. It is normally formed with the ending –ly.
e.g. Simon works quickly.

Ein Adverb bestimmt ein Verb, ein Adjektiv oder ein anderes Adverb. Es wird normalerweise gebildet, indem die Endung -ly and das Adjektiv gehängt wird (im Deutschen -lich),
z.B. Simon works quickly. (“Simon arbeitet schnell”).
